This one is called Wise Owl.  It is similar to the Tawny Owl one which I had listed and has now been sold, but this is a later version and a more simple representation of the owl. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is inscribed with the name of the weight on the circumference of the base. There is a little round sticker on the base - it is rubbed so no lettering on it any longer, as photographed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWise Owl is  another rather an ingenious optic weight. It is spherical in shape and has an amber-gold blush to the glass - to resemble the colour of an owl. There is a little mesh of controlled bubbles on the rear of the weight. There is a little peal-like air bubble inside.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe owl's face is made from two circular polished facets with a little diamond shaped facet created for his wee beak. The optic part of the design comes when you look at the weight from the front. The eye facets reflect the single bubble inside so it appears to be the pair of the owl's eyes. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is such a fun weight, and of course in perfect condition with no damages. It measures just over 2 3\/4 inches in height and with a diameter of 3 inches so a nice larger-sized weight.
