The design dates to 2003 and it is called Hetkia or Moments. The designer was Maija Louekari. She claimed to have  lifted the pattern from a hand-drawn sketch of people walking on a city street.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMaija Louekari (b 1982) was \u003cspan\u003es a Finnish textile artist and pattern designer known above all for the prints she has designed for Marimekko. She is said to draw her inspiration from everyday life and the ordinary things, people and sounds around her. This Hetkia pattern also features on fabric.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOn offer here are two matching much sought-after ceramic beakers. They measure 9.5 cm in height and have a diameter of 8.3 cm. They hold 25 cl of liquid. These designs are now discontinued and hard to find and vintage (and indeed modern) Marimekko items tend to be more expensive. I am listing the beakers at £25 each. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe little oblong tray matches the ceramic beakers - and it is made of laminated birch plywood - it is now very rare and hard to find, especially in the UK. My tray is in perfect condition. It measures 27 x 20 cm. It is marked Marimekko on the reverse. I am listing this at £40 due to condition and rarity. It is now 23 years old.
