I have just been told that this is not just any gentleman on horseback - but rather it is a model of King Charles I (he is usually paired with another horseman looking in the opposite direction who represents Cromwell).  His figurine is listed on page A172 of the book Portrait Figures by Gordon Pugh\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe figurine is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe paintwork to this piece is minimalistic - with just his little face and boots painted with colour.
