The model dates to the end of the 19th century (1870s or 80s) - and would have originally been one of a pair which you would have sat on your mantlepiece in the Victorian cottage on either side of a clock. Sadly, I only have the dog which would have sat on the left-hand side - he has been separated from his partner. He has a rich treacleware or Rockingham glaze - he is probably Scottish in origin.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI also have another slightly larger miniature one - and a matched pair available in my shop. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one is in good antique condition n with no chips or cracks.. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions: Height 5 ½ inches. The width is approx 3 ½ inches and the depth is under 2 inches.
