It comes from my own personal collection. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt dates to around 1900 and is an Arts and Crafts design. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt has no maker's mark but it is certainly a fine piece of antique metalware. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt comes in two pieces. The main body section and carrying handle in the shape of a Jugendstil leaf forming the end of the handle, as photographed. The top section is the sconce section where you pop your candle. The scone fits snuggly into the base section, as shown. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt is nice and clean and the top is polished to gleam. The underneath has never been polished or touched and has a fine patina of age. The brass is quite heavy. It is a substantial item. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDimensions: the height is 3 1\/2 inches. The diameter of the base section is 4 3\/4 inches.
