They are nicely modelled examples with no chips or cracks - they have their original dark glass eyes. The modelling on this pair is more minimalistic and monumental in form than other examples in my \u003cspan\u003eIconic Edinburgh online \u003c\/span\u003estore.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey are a matched pair, as created. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach dog has a little gold-coloured collar with a padlock on it - the padlock and chain on each dog have some rubbing and losses to the gilding - but this is a common occurrence on these old Victorian examples. However, all the shiny gilt highlights on the fur are still very much in place with little signs of rubbing - they look just lovely. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey are fine display pieces - and will look fabulous on a mantlepiece or old-fashioned kitchen dresser. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a very large pair.
