The match safe retains its original red paintwork. This is in good antique condition but commensurate with the matchbox being picked up and put down over a period of 100 years or more. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMr Toad is hinged at the back with a good solid built-in cast iron hinge. The modelling is very realistic and fine. As mentioned - you will not easily find another like him - so have priced it on the rarity value and his lovely antique condition. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn his base,  he has an antique Victorian or early Edwardian registration number. This is 252192 \/ 727568, as photographed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe dimensions are overall length: 3 3\/4 inches. The width at the widest point is 3 1\/5 inches.
