Opaque White Glass with Transfer Printed Willow Pattern Design (Two Available)","description":"\u003cp\u003eI have two of these vintage glass light shades available for sale.  On stylistic basis, I think that they date from the 1940s or early 1950s - certainly not much later than that!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI am selling each of these separately as single shades.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey are perfectly matched - and the design seems to be transfer printed in colours around the outside of the shade.  The design is a variant of the traditional Willow Pattern design that you might more readily find printed on plates and chargers in blue and white shades. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHere we have the large temple (in a rust colour) surrounded with blue-grey trees, as you turn the shade with can see the two birds in the sky. This design is repeated again on the other side of the shade - I have taken lots of images for your inspection. They are certainly more traditional shades and very pretty if you have an Oriental inspired interior. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach shade is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Each one is 5 inches in height and 4 1\/4 inches at the widest. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePostage will be with Royal Mail Tracked (Small Parcel).
