It is made of black textured leather with a decorative gold border. There is a pretty little brass clasp on the front to keep the case closed. Inside it has black velvet fitted base - and a clean white satin covering on the interior lid. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe spoons are also so lovely. They are silver gilt with a gold wash over the bowl section. The handles are decorated with guilloche enamels, on both sides - in Royal Blue, Claret Red, and Emerald Green (two of each colour). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a Birmingham Hallmark on the base of the handle. This is annotated with the letter X (as photographed). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll the enamel is present and with no losses or cracking. I love the little finial on each spoon which takes the form of a little scallop shell. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions: length is 3 3\/4 inches. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOf offer here, is the complete cased set plus another three individual teaspoons of exactly similar size and design. They are in the following colours - pale blue, buttercup yellow, and a peppermint green.
