It is made by a glass artist, Sarah Peterson who was working at Caithness Glass at this time. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a larger size and ovoid in form - it has a height of about 5 1\/4 inches. It has a good weight to it being over 2kg in weight. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is called Midnight Mountain and is from the Fantasy Island series. It is inscribed with these details on the base - and the number H 27153. I had another from the series in my shop - but this one was sold. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis fine one is certainly an unusual weight and shows Caithness striving to keep up with modern fashions in glass design. It has a rich blue colour - and shows a large grey rock or mountain peak with wee stars behind it and a white crescent moon in the distance.
