This listing here is for a rare 1960s Acalupco Wood and Ceramic Chopping board or cheese board.
It is made of a lovely toned teak wood with an inset Acapulco tile.
The wooden section looks very Danish in design and type of wood used.
It comes complete with its original cheese knife - which is in good condition.
The handle fits into the groove on the board and is held in place with a little inlaid circular magnet.
The wood and tile are in excellent condition.
We will oil the board before sending it to you - so the wood is in tip-top condition.
These chopping boards are very hard to source now - and this is reflected in my asking price (especially when it is in such fabulous condition).
Dimensions: The length of the board is 11 3/4 inches and the width is 7 1/2 inches. The tile is a standard 6 inches square one.
It is in perfect condition with a nice glossy surface - and no sign of any cutlery marks etc on it.
