White \u0026 Silver Model","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis is an attractive vintage 1960s \/  1970s desk amp which was manufactured in Italy by Prova - and then imported to the UK and sold at BHS (British Home Stores) in the 1970s. These BHS vintage pieces are now becoming quite collectable - which their stylish but affordable designs. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one looks for inspiration to similar designs made by Peter Nelson - but is obviously a much more affordable version. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI have a couple of these available in my store - this one is the white enamel and stainless steel version. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"simple-format-listing-short-delivery-text\"\u003eIt is generally in good vintage condition, generally nice, and clean. No major disfiguring dents etc to the shade. There are a couple of little restored paint losses on the base - only a couple of tiny dings - and hardly noticeable - so this one is slightly lower in price. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"simple-format-listing-short-delivery-text\"\u003eThe lamp has a chrome upright stand that issues from a round white enamelled base. There is a black hard plastic knop that turns and allows you to raise and lower the shade arm. The other arm with the shade can also be moved about here to a variety of angles, as photographed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"simple-format-listing-short-delivery-text\"\u003eIt is about 43 cm in height. The diameter of the base is 16 cm (6 1\/4 inches). The overall length of the shade is 19 cm (7 1\/2 inches), The diameter of the shade at the widest is 11 cm (4 1\/4 inches). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"simple-format-listing-short-delivery-text\"\u003eIt has its original finger switch and about 2 meters of cable. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"simple-format-listing-short-delivery-text\"\u003eThe base has its original paper covering below  - as photographed. It retains its original Prova, Made in Italy label. Of course, it is sold in working condition.
