This is a vintage powder compact for standard refill size of pressed cakes of face powders.
It dates to the late 1960s or early 1970s.
It has never been used and It is in a like-new condition - so no hygiene issues with it.
The main body is gold-tone - and the top of the lid has a black enamel finish with a raised marcasite flower pattern. It was made exclusively for Boots the Chemist - and is still in its original card retail box, as photographed.
The mirror inside the lid is clean and without marks or spots on the surface.
The diameter is 7 cm (2 3/4 inches).
I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
My asking price reflects its age and its exceptional condition.
It is still in its original card box.
