Battle of the Centaurs. Signed","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis is a lovely vintage lidded bowl which has been made in Karlsbad, Czechoslovakia by Moser Glass. It is a fine old piece dating to the early 20th century. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt has an etched signature on the base, as photographed.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe bowl is made of a lovely rich purple or amethyst glass. This is an attractive piece of antique Czech glassware. It has a gold-tone metal frieze around the main body section and on the lid around the edge. It same metalwork forms a decorative circle in the central space of the lid. The frieze features a battle between Centaurs and Greek Warriors.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese lidded trinket boxes are now very collectible and harder-to-find items by Moser. The banding around the lid is more decorative, as photographed. There are four applied glass ball feet on the base. These are undamaged and secure with no wobble or issues. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe little bowl is about 3 1\/2 inches in height and just under 5 1\/2 inches in diameter. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe dish is in good antique condition with no chips or cracks.  The metalwork is generally without issue. I have personally owned this piece for many years and I have taken great care of it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePostage will be with Royal Mail Tracked (Medium Parcel).
