The pattern on the main body section is a more unusual one - with arches infilled with a criss-cross pattern and three pronged fans shapes between each arch. It also stands on a little foot - with an engraved star on the base.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe tall neck of the decanter has polished facets at the base which rise up the neck towards the flared rim. The stopper is original to the decanter and is a stunning large faceted one. It has an engraved mark on the base which was used by Edinburgh Crystal from 1955. So I suspect that this is an earlier and discontinued pattern. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eI have taken lots of images for your inspection.      \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe decanter is 12 inches in height (including the stopper) - with no damage or clouding to the interior. It is about 5 1\/2 inches at the widest. The foot has a diameter of 2 3\/4 inches. The stopper is 5 inches in length. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eUnpacked it is just over 1.3kg in weight\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe decanter appears to have never been used and is sold as being nice and clean. It has no damage and the interior is not clouded. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThis is a rare surviving decanter - and this shape is harder to find. This is reflected in my asking price.
