This is a fine vintage silver brooch - made by Shetland Silver, Scotland in 1968.
The design shows the Norse God, Odin riding out on his eight-legged horse, Sleipnir.

A finely modelled piece made from solid silver - marked (as photographed) "Shetland Silver" and the initials "SS.
The brooch is the largest example being 4 cm in diameter
The brooch has a pin and with a rollover catch, and is in lovely condition. It is very clean and newly polished so that it is nice and shiny and ready to wear.
