The play is set in Threedale, on the Scottish Border. The action takes place in the early years of the reign of King James the Sixth. Today, he\u003cspan\u003e is probably best remembered for his historical comedies. He was awarded a Civil List Pension in 1968 for \"services to literature in Scotland\" and received an OBE in 1978.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe book measures: 20.5 x 16.8 x 0.8 cm.
