It has its original red mount around the image - and is then framed. The frame is a more modern frame. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn stylistic grounds, it probably dates to the early 20th century. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one features a full-length portrait of a lady. It is painted in watercolours highlighted with gold.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe image shows an Indian lady dressed in a pretty sugar-pink dress.  Her dress is a simple fitted one - with lots of loose pleats around the skirt section. She has a long beige silk scarf which is draped over her shoulder. She wears a necklace, bracelets and armbands. She is in an orchard with a tree in the background with tiny blossums. She reaches up her hand to pick one from the branch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe sky is a thin band of blue to the top of the image - and it has little clouds in it. The bottom section of the painting is an emerald green shade with little flowers near the bottom margin. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe frame is a later one - but it looks just fine on the little artwork. It is a nice clean painting- all ready to hang on your wall. I have taken lots of images so you can see all the details in the work. It will look lovely on display.  There is a little ripple to the paper but not noticeable when the work is hung.
