It dates to the 1940s \/ 1950s, perhaps a bit earlier! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a fine piece of Italian Art Glass and was made by Fratelli Toso. It is made of fused and moulded millefiori canes. These are opaque and have an attractive and tactile satin finish. It is made of a really fine collection of canes - and you can see the exceptional craftsmanship in this lamp. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt has its original brass collar with a later replacement bulb holder - so that it is earth. It has an on-off switch on the bulb holder. It is wired with a cloth-covered flex appropriate to the design of the lamp. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is sold with no shade - so you would have to add a shade of your choice to the base section. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe lamp is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or damage. You will be very pleased with it. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e Dimensions: Height including the brass bulb holder is 12 1\/4 inches. The glass lamp section to the top of the brass collar section is 10 inches. The diameter of the base is 6 1\/4 inches.
