This labels were used about 2000 - so this helps me to date this lovely weight by him. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ground is a cerise pink colour - and on top of the ground Deacons has laid four long white latticino twist canes. In between these are lines of millefiori canes. There is a signature thistle cane used by Deacons. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt also is more unusual in that it has six polished faceted panels around the side - and a larger slightly concave viewing facet on the lid.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt measures: 2 3\/4 inches in diameter and with a height of 1 3\/4 inches. Unpacked it weights: 370 grams. It is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt will be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked post. The town has a long history of art glass manufacturing starting over 50 years ago in 1964 with Strathearn Glass, followed by Perthshire paperweights in 1968, J Glass in 1978 and finally Deacons Glass in 1980.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eJohn started as an apprentice with Strathearn Glass in 1967 but within a year was asked by the manager Stuart Drysdale to join his Perthshire Paperweights start-up team.
