Around the rim, the glass used is more of a darker green (almost emerald) shade. It has lots of large flakes of silver aventurine in the rim area. The more unusual about this dish is the addition of a shaped foot, as photographed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe base is polished and there is a raised pontil mark which retains the original Monart label. The rim on this bowl has been strengthened by the addition of the thicker glass band under the rim - a sign of a good quality bowl. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe size, quality, and more unusual foot detail is reflected in my asking price for this dish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eAs you can see from my photographs - it is an interesting piece and looks great on display.
