The vase is a tall bottle shape which undulates and finishes with a slightly flared neck. The pattern is called PLC, as annotated on the base. This consists of vertical stipes of dark blue, beige and a grey-blue with incised white oval shapes and black painted shapes on the colour bands. The shape is number 694 - as noted in the impressed mark on the base. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.

My vase is in excellent condition with no damages - these is a little ripple to the neck which has occurred in the making - but otherwise a fantastic example that is a show-stopper on display. This shape is a harder one to source - and this is reflected in my asking price.

HISTORY: Lucien Myres was appointed director of Poole in the 1950s and looked to producing more fine art pottery after post-war design council restrictions were lifted in 1954.
