It is a very large size for this "Bubble" design. It has been hand-blown.

It dates from the early 1960s and was made by the glass maestro Per Lutken (1916 - 1998). His monogram is etched on the base.

It is a rich inky dark blue colour and has a minimalistic oval shape. It takes the form of a large bubble and indeed it is nicknamed the "Soap Bubble".

This one is quite early and is dated 1961, and is harder to find in this larger size. It retains its original vintage Holmegaard paper label and is fully signed on the base.

It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, and just a little wear commensurate with age on the base, as shown in my photographs.

Measures approximately 10 inches in height. This is a sought-after larger "Soap Bubble" vase. As such, it is a more expensive issue - the size, blue colour and rarity is reflected in my asking price.

Postage will be with Parcelforce24 and applied to your order at the checkout. The parcel will be fully insured in transit.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0271/1902/6240/files/1961-danish-holmegaard-glass-large-drabba-or-soap-bubble-vase-by-per-lutken-10-inches-scandinavian-219.webp?v=1792357808
https://www.iconicedinburgh.co.uk/products/large-danish-holmegaard-glass-soap-bubble-vase-per-lutken-signed-dated-1961
