Its first creations were artistic glass objects and Venetian chandeliers.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe paperweight is glass and it has a thin black ground - common on these weights. The ground is sprinkled all over with glittery metallic nuggets - the metallic colour appears to be more of a copper shade than bright yellow gold. The aventurine fair twinkles when you turn the weight in the light; the rocky ground reminds you a little of the surface of a planet in a sci-fi movie! These paperweights are very collectable - and I have listed this one at a fair price.   \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt has no damage and still retains on the base its original label (as photographed). Sadly, the label has been rubbed over decades of being picked up for inspection and popped back down.
