This is a harder to source piece of classic Whitefriars Glass.
It is a heavy lobed glass bowl - designed by the glass maestro, Geoffrey Baxter.
It is in a kingfisher blue colour with the central bowl shape in this attractive dark blue shade - and then cased with very thick globules of crystal clear glass forming the external lobes.
It is certainly a bit of a showstopper piece of Baxter free-form glass - and looks great on a piece of Scandi-modern teak furniture - it was a big "wow" factor in a more futuristic space-age interior - great design always looks fabulous in any setting.
It is a beast of a bit of glass with a good bit of weight to it - hence the postage costs...
It weighs a stonking - 2.5 kg (so sadly UK posting only).
Will have to send this to you with a quality courier - Parcelforce48 - which is tracked and signed for - and will be posted to suit your own preferences. Sadly, this puts the postage price up a little - but we do not charge any extra for packing services etc. But at this bargain price - it is worth it!
Measures 8 inches in diameter and height is roughly 3 inches in height.
As you can see - in just lovely condition - no chips or cracks - and no nasty scratches from keys etc anywhere.
