On offer here is a matching pair of lovely antique Bristol Blue finger bowls or rinsers, dating to the Victorian period.

So TWO matching bowls are on offer here!

They are a very fine example and great for formal dining, or just as pretty items for display. These finger glass bowls were originally placed on dining tables and used to clean little fingers by dipping them into the glass which would be filled with water - and used between courses. They were also used as rinsers where you could swirl your wine glass in the water to clean.

They were made in a variety of colours - but the blue glass ones are most sought after.

My ones are made of hand blown inky blue glass with a pronounced ground and polished pontil on the base, as photographed.

These are just fabulous, with no condition issues of any kind.

The height of each finger bowl is 4 inches. With a diameter of 4 3/4 inches.

The pair weighs about 600 grams; so nice substantial examples.

I have two pairs available in my store - and these all match, and I have photographed all four of them on this listing.

HAPPY TO POST INTERNATIONALLY, PLEASE ASK FOR A POSTAGE QUOTE OUTSIDE OF THE UK.
