Tally Ho!

This is an attractive 1960s toffee tin which was retailed by Edward Sharp & Sons, Kent.

It is square in format - so would make a splendid tea caddy for modern use.

The tin is 4 3/4 inches square - and with a height of 5 3/4 inches.

As you can see in my photographs, it is decorated with images of horse's in silhouette - jumping and galloping. There are also images of jockey caps and racing whips. There are decorative motifs in the corners made up of four golden horseshoes,

The lid fits on nice and tightly - so perfect for storing tea and keeping it fresh - and there is gold coloured knop on the top of the lid.

Generally in nice clean condition - a fine scuffs here and there... commensurate with age.

No nasty dents or damages.

Some of the gold on the tin has little areas of spotting or oxidisation as is natural on a tin of this age.

A very cute and collectable old tin - great gift for someone who likes horse activities.
