This is a harder to find and very sweet little toffee tin, which dates to the 1930s.
It is for Thorne's Toffee - and the letters making up the name of the company are shown on the balloons held by the little children.
Around the side and some stranger images showing little shiny gold elves carrying large blocks of super creme toffee and cutting up in the workshop or factory for you tin!
It has a hinged lid and is in generally in good condition - a few tiny scuff marks here and there - but not disfiguring and commensurate with age. It has no nasty dents - and the lid is sound.
No rusting to the interior - but the usual oxidisation or old patina to the metal of the tin as you always find with these old tins.
Dimensions: length is 5 1/2 inches, the width is 3 1/4 inches and the height is 2 1/4 inches.
