There are lots of black flecks around the rim - and masses of gold aventurine flakes. The flecks really twinkle in the light. The raised central pontil is a typical Monart one - sadly it has no paper label.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is certainly a beautiful example of traditional Scottish glass. I adore the rich very subtle blue and all the gold glitter. This shade would look perfect in modern interiors as well as period ones. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExcellent condition with no chips or cracks.  I have priced this to take into account its very attractive pink colour and all the gold flecks in this. It also has its original label.
