The glass dome has a more grey tone to the glass rather than being crystal clear. This grey tone is often found in Vasart weights. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is no maker's cane to be seen in this weight, this is consistent with what you might find in early Vasart examples. The canes and placement are a little more naive and would suggest earlier works. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is an attractive red ground, into which the more chunky millefiori canes are placed. The base has a pontil mark. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a central white cane surrounded by pale blue canes in an open circle. \u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eThere are 9 simple red and purple twisted ribbon canes forming half-length spokes - with purple, turquoise and pale blue and white millefiori canes in each section.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe diameter at the widest point is 3 inches and the height is just over 2 inches. There are no damages or scratches to the glass.
