It dates to around the 1950s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt has a little polished pontil that you find on pieces of Monart glass - but I think that this piece is probably Vasart and made a little later than Monart pieces. It has no Vasart engraved script on the base.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is certainly a pretty example with quite subtle pastel colours.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe base colour is a pale sugar pink tone - from which issues all around pretty lilac coloured swirls - and this blend in with the dusty grey colour around the rim.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExcellent condition with no chips or cracks. I have taken lots of images for your inspection. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNice larger size - with a height of 7 3\/4 inches. The diameter at the top is 6 inches. Unpacked it is 1 kg. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA very fair price for a larger piece of vintage Vasart studio glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt will have to be sent as a medium-size parcel with Royal Mail in the UK.
