It dates to around the 1950s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a tall bucket shape and measures some 7 1\/2 inches in height. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is an unusual colour for Vasart with the main body colour being a cloudy light burnt orange colour. This is opaque with no mottling or swirls in the glass. Around the rim - about two inches in height is a speckled black and gold aventurine band.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vase has a raised pontil mark - as you might find on an earlier Monart piece - but this is a later Vasart vase. It has the word Vasart lightly etched with acid on the base.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is in excellent condition with no damages. A more unusual glowing colour - and it looks such a nice vibrant example. I have taken lots of images for your inspection. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions: 7 1\/2 inches in height. The diameter of the rim is 5 3\/8 inches. The base is 3 1\/2 inches. The weight unpacked it is 900 grams. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA very fair price for a fine piece of Vasart glass. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt will have to be sent as a medium-size parcel with Royal Mail in the UK.
