It is without a doubt a very good starter piece for your collection of Monart glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe body colour is a subtle mottled sky-blue glass. Around the rim there is a mottled inclusion of darker blue glass. It has large flakes of silver aventurine in the rim area. The base is polished and there is a raised pontil mark which retains the original Monart label. The rim on this bowl has been strengthened by the addition of the thicker glass band under the rim - a sign of a good quality bowl. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe size, quality, and the fact that it retains its label is reflected in my asking price for this one. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eAs you can see from my photographs - it is an interesting piece and looks great on display.
