It probably dates to just before the year 2000.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ground is a cloudy or mottle peppermint green colour. In the centre of the weight is a lampwork flower. There is a millefiori cane in the centre of the flower to suggest white pollen. The petals are cerise and tipped with pink. There are emerald green stems and leaves. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is in excellent condition with no damage. I have taken lots of images for your inspection. It was a little difficult to photograph as the dome of the weight was very shiny - any white marks on the weights in my images are only reflections! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt measures just over 2 1\/2 inches in diameter and with a height of 2 inches. Unpacked it weights: 370 grams. The town has a long history of art glass manufacturing starting over 50 years ago in 1964 with Strathearn Glass, followed by Perthshire paperweights in 1968, J Glass in 1978 and finally Deacons Glass in 1980.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eJohn started as an apprentice with Strathearn Glass in 1967 but within a year was asked by the manager Stuart Drysdale to join his Perthshire Paperweights start-up team.
