It looks just fine at home with other Monart pieces. But it dates to a slightly later period. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThis is a standard shallow dish. It is certainly a good starter piece for your collection of Scottish glass.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe body colour is a  mottled pale lilac-grey glass and there is a aqua-blue colour towards the rim.  There are lots of silver glitter flecks in the glass around the rim. The base is polished and there is an indented ground-down pontil mark. There are signs of acid etching of the signature on the base - but the Vasart word is not visible. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eAs you can see from my photographs, it is a pretty piece of Scottish Art Glass and looks great on display.
