As you can see it is beautifully made and was created by Strathearn Glass and probably dates to the 1960s. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy Scottish weight has a thin periwinkle base, confined more to the central area of the weight. It has a circular polished pontil mark.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis weight is more unusual in that it does not contain any spokes made of twisted lattcino canes. Instead you have a central rosette of sugar pink canes - which is surrounded by four concentric rings of millefiori canes. The colour are all very pretty pastel ones. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe central cane has a dark blue centre. There is the pink rosette, then a ring of pale green canes, than a green-yellow ring, and then one of pink - with interspaced spiky millefiori canes. The very outer ring it two-tone with pink and darker periwinkle blue canes.  All the canes are nicely places and sit well in the ground - which again would suggest a Strathearn weight.
