Mottled Pale Blue with Pale Grey Neck. 9 inches high","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis is a very large piece of genuine Monart Glass dating to the 1930s.  It is Shape Classified as MF and the size is VI ( this one is 9 inches).   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a similar shape to my other MF Vases listed on the website - but this one is slightly smaller and has a darker neck and rim section. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a lovely bulbous ovoid shape and short rim around around the top. It is quite an unusual colour for Monart - with mainly pale pastel colours. The base section is a mottled sky blue colour in clear glass and at the top this changes to a lilac tinted grey colour - but with no mottling. There are little subtle swirls of darker lilac near the neck section where the colours merge.  There is no metallic aventurine flecks in this one or mottling at the neck.  It reminds me of a big ovoid soap bubble! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe raised central pontil is a typical Monart one - sadly it has no paper label and this has probably been wash away over time - which often happens. I have taken lots of images for your inspection. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is in excellent condition with no damages. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions: Height is 9 inches. Diameter at its widest point: 6 1\/2 inches. The rim is 4 1\/2 inches diameter. The base is 3 1\/2 inches in diameter. Unpacked the vase is nearly just over 1.3 kg\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is certainly a beautiful example of traditional Scottish glass. I adore the rich very subtle colours and these would look perfect in modern interiors as well as period ones.    \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDue to its size - we will have to send this vase with Parcelforce24.
