Many of these old buildings were recreated as a \"street scene\" for visitors to the Exhibition to enjoy. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe border of the plate is decorated with flowers representing the four nations that made up Great Britain at this time. The plate would have been printed with a black transfer of the decoration and all the colours would have been applied by hand. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a lovely example of one of these souvenir plates - it has a diameter of 9 inches.
