These are original figurines of bird models that have the Arran stamp or labels on the base, as photographed.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAlastair Dunn continued to make these models throughout the 70s  up until his death in 1986. They were popular with tourists to Arran and are now much sought after by collectors. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe birds featured are two birds native to the Island - a Peregrine Falcon and a Hen Harrier. They are harder to find birds and slightly larger models in the series.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe models are hollow porcelain. The are hand-painted and have a matt finish. They have the Arran pottery mark on the base of each. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe Peregrine Falcon (the daker bird) is 8 cm in height and with a length of 10.5 cm. The Hen Harrier (the lighter grey bird) is 8.5 cm in height and with a length of 10.5 cm.
