This is a beautiful large Scottish Highland Stoneware sandwich plate or serving platter.
It is decorated all over with a more unusual pattern of delicate yellow and white flowers with green and blue petals. The painting on this one is very Impressionist in style - and would look great in a country cottage - it could be used to serve sandwiches on - or lots of little canapes.
It also has holes on the back for you to add stringing to hang this plate from a wall as a wall charger.
This pattern is now discontinued and these vintage pieces are now highly sought after and hard to find. It must date to around the 1980s.
This is a very substantial and collectable piece of pottery - shipping price reflects that there is a good bit of weight to this large platter.
Dimensions: 16 3/4 inches in length and about 6 1/2inches wide.
Weight unpacked is 1.6kg - so will have to send with the slightly more expensive courier service Parcelforce48 rather than with Royal Mail.
Probably due to the weight an item for the UK only.
