It is a substantial piece and of a nice length. The overall length is 22 inches (56 cm). \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eAs you can see in my photographs - it is a fine piece - with each link is individually cast in Sterling silver and each of these links connected with sturdy small rings. There are a total of 17 oval link sections. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI love the closing hook - which is cast as part of the last link and hooks onto another of the rings. The closure is almost invisible when worn. Each of these pierced disks is highly polished with a mirror effect and very shiny. \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThere is a good amount of silver in this necklace - it weighs in at 48 grams. It is lovely and shiny and clean - and all ready to wear.
