She works as a Scottish silversmith and textile designer. She has twice served as the Vice President of the Scottish Society of Women Artists and has served as President of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists. She has also been Chair of the Friends of the Royal Scottish Academy and served on the committee of the Art Friends of St Columba’s Hospice. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp align=\"center\" class=\"style3 style4 style22\" style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eShe has had many awards for her jewellery designs and in 1992 was asked to make a brooch for presentation to Queen Elizabeth II.  She has received many eminent commissions. \u003cstrong\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eFor the celebrations of Dame Elizabeth Blackadder`s 80th birthday, Sheana was asked to supply themed jewellery for the shop in the National Gallery and also for the Falkirk Callendar House exhibition.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp align=\"center\" class=\"style3 style4 style22\" style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis is a lovely large brooch by Sheana. It is made of silver and has an Edinburgh hallmark on the back for 1996 and her maker's stamp: SMS. It is shaped like a circular dish with raised central section decorated with blue, green and yellow enamels - perhaps to look like a Ruskin cabochon.  It is a unique, one-off piece.  The surface of the silver has been slightly planished to give it some texture. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp align=\"center\" class=\"style3 style4 style22\" style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe brooch has a diameter of 4.5 cm.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp align=\"center\" class=\"style3 style4 style22\" style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt will be sent to you in a simple black gift box - and they in an outer sturdy box with Royal Mail (Small Parcel) service.
