Signed","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis the second piece of fine piece of Scottish studio glass made by Graham Muir in my online store. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGraham was at Edinburgh College of Art at the same time I studied there! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is another unique piece of hand-blown glass by him. Again, it takes the form of a sculptural bowl and it resembles a wave or whirlpool - it has pale pink ribbons trails and raspberry linear inclusions, as photographed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is signed by the artist on the base. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bowl's diameter is roughly: 12 inches at the widest and across the narrowest point it is about 11 inches. Height is about 5 inches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGraham was born in Edinburgh in 1961 and studied at Edinburgh College of Art from 1979-83, graduating with BA(Hons) in Glass Design. In 1984 he undertook a large commission for engravings of dancers from Saddlers Wells and Royal Ballet dance companies.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring the next two years, Graham was employed as a Glass Assistant by Jenny Antonio and Paul Musgrove (see my fine Musgrove bowl also for sale in my \u003cspan\u003eIconic Edinburgh online s\u003c\/span\u003etore) before starting up his own business in 1987.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe moved to Eskmills, Musselburgh the following year and also joined the Scottish Craft Centre. At this time he began employment as a visiting lecturer at Sunderland University.
