The front of the pot is embellished with relief slipware seedpods or berries. These are not covered with the blue glaze but are a brown shade like the main body of the pot. The reverse of the pot has no decoration just the fine dark blue glaze. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe pot is globular in shape with two ears or lips at each side, as photographed. It is a pretty little decorative pot for a Victorian or Arts and Crafts interior. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe base is signed E.H. Elton, for Sir Edmund Harry Elton (1846 - 1920). \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt is 4 3\/4 inches in height. From ear to ear it is 4 inches.
