The makes very fine and delicate pots from white porcelain which is coloured with pigments or stains.

This bowl is just so exquisite. It has a traditional simple shape but it turned into an artwork with the addition of the wide flattened rim at the top. The exterior is a subtle matt Teal colour. The interior is slightly darker with a glossy finish. The bowl has been painstakingly sanded and polished to give it a very smooth and appealing tactile finish.

It is a nice larger size for this type of work by Van Dal. It measures: 4 inches (10 cm) in height. The diameter at the top is 6 1/4 (16 cm) and the diameter of the internal aperture is 3 inches (7.5 cm). The foot is 2 inches in diameter (4.8 cm).

It is a beautiful and unique piece of art pottery with no damage of any kind. The quality of this unique piece is reflected in my asking price.

It is signed with the letter "V" on the base.

His work is much sought after and he has exhibited widely across the UK, Europe, Hong Kong, and China.

This will be sent to you in the UK with Royal Mail Medium Tracked Parcel.
