This listing is for ONE cup and a matching saucer.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese were made at Aldermaston Pottery founded in Berkshire in 1955 by Alan Caiger-Smith.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHalf a dozen assistant potters worked at Aldermaston and they worked as a team for more routine production work and individually for studio pieces. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pottery is noted mainly for its tin-glaze wares with stylish abstract designs and also for its lustreware. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a pretty matching twin-handled bowl or cup with a matching undersaucer. Each piece is signed on the base with the cypher for Edgar Campden (born 1930). He joined Aldermaston Pottery in 1961 and stayed there until 1993. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey are in excellent condition with no damage.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe saucer is 6 ¾ inches. The bowl is 5 ¼ inches in diameter. Hande to handle it is just over 7 inches and the height is 2 ¾ inches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUK Postage will be with Royal Mail Tracked Post.
