Recently Re-wired","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis is a lovely antique \/ vintage brass table lamp dating to around the 1920s or 1930s. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a lovely simple design and comes complete with the trumpet or bell-shaped opaque glass shade with a pink mottled undulating edge, as photographed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe lamp has recently been re-wired and is all ready for you to just plug in and use. We have chosen a black coloured cloth twist old-fashioned cable. It has a new safety bulb holder which is earthed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe base is circular with decorative steps. From the base issues, the stem. This is plain and stylish. There is a grommet to keep your cable in place and nice and secure. There is a brass bulb holder at the top with an on \/ off finger switch.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe shade is made of opaque glass the white section is mottled and there is a sugar pink tinge to the rim area. This lamp would certainly look great lighting up your cabinet of crystal glasses - or perhaps as a feature light on a wee table in a corner of a room. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a pretty table or desk lamp - the brass base and column to the top of the bulb holder measures approx 13 3\/4 inches. From the base to the top of the shade is 17 1\/4 inches The diameter of the base is 5 inches. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe shade is 4 3\/4 inches in height with a diameter at the flared top of the shade is 5 inches. The lamp takes a normal size bayonet bulb - but it would probably look nicer with a smaller bayonet golf ball size one. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCondition. The lamp is very attractive and without blemish - except for one tiny dent to the base, as photographed. This is not obvious when the lamp is on display in your house. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs you can see from my photographs, my lamp is in excellent condition. The brass is all clean and shiny and the shade is also clean and without damage.  We have photographed the base (below) for you to look at.
