It was designed by Bertil Vallien (b. 1938) - one of Sweden's leading glass artists.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vase has a main body colour of speckled and textured white glass - with splatters of primary coloured flecks at random points on the body surface. Front and back is a gold speckled oblong patch of fused gold tone foil as a decorative device. Lovely tall, elegant neck with flares out at the top and with an orange ring near to the top. There is a clear polished pontil mark on the base - which has an etched signature on it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is one of the largest sizes in the range measuring some 12 inches in height. With a width 7 1\/2 inches and a shallower depth of about 2 1\/2 inches at the widest point.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn excellent condition with no damages.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBeing a larger and heavy piece - this pushes up your postage costs a bit.
