I love this cute little Staffordshire money box - it is in the form of a little octagonal cottage or lodge house.
It is early Victorian and dates to around 1845.
As you can see from my photographs, it is in excellent antique condition - and is nearly 180 years old.
The coin slot is without damages - and there are no chips or cracks.
It measures just over 3 1/2 inches in height (8.5 cm)
The walls of the house are an attractive peach colour - with a darker toned rust coloured door. There are little pieces of green foliage here and there - and an old gold gilt line around the base.
There is certainly a lot of charm to this little bank - the price reflects its immaculate condition.
It is sold as a genuine antique Staffordshire piece and it certainly NOT a modern reproduction.
