Baranivka Porcelain Factory","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis is a very sweet and stylish vintage porcelain figurine of a girl.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt dates to the mid-20th century (during the Soviet era) and was made at the Baranivka Porcelain Factory in the Ukraine - their mark is on the base, as photographed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe figuine takes the form of a pretty girl. She stands with her legs together on a little circular plinth or stand. She wears a skirt which spreads out in a stiff circle around her. She has her hands raised and holds a scarf or circlet of flowers around her neck. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn the base is the mark for the Baranivka Porcelain factory. They were one of the Ukraine's oldest porcelian manufactureres, founded in 1802 - 1804. At this time the factory was located in Poland - but it is now part of the Ukraine. Production was continuous even during the Soviet era.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis model dates to the 1950s when there was a revival in production after WWII and more contemporary styles were introduced.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy figurine is in perfect condition with no damages. Dimensions: 8 1\/2 inches in height. 4 inches wide and 3 1\/2 inches in depth. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe figure will be very carefully packed and sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked and Signed for Parcel.
